When? October 8th-11th
Where? Milan, Italy
What? Sustainable Places 2025
We are pleased to announce that BuildON will participate in Sustainable Places 2025, Europe’s leading conference on the sustainable built environment. Hosted in Milan from 8 to 10 October 2025, the event will bring together researchers, innovators, and policymakers from across Europe to drive the transition towards a climate-neutral future.
As part of the programme, BuildON, represented by its partner NTUA, will co-organise the workshop “Smart Readiness in Action: Unlocking Energy Efficiency and Comfort in Buildings”.
This session will spotlight the Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI), introduced under the EU’s Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, as a key tool to make buildings smarter, more energy-efficient, and resilient. Through short presentations and interactive discussions, BuildON will contribute expertise on digital tools and methodologies that make the SRI measurable and actionable in real-world projects.
BuildON partner ONE TEAM will also contribute to the conference with the presentation “Advancing Building Lifecycle Management: The Data-Centric Digital Building Logbook of the BuildON Project”, further enriching the discussion on advancing smart and data-driven building lifecycle management.
