Welcome to the fourth edition of the BuildON newsletter!
Exciting times lie ahead for BuildON: in the coming months, we’ll be present at two major European events – Sustainable Places and ENLIT – to share our vision of smarter, more connected, and energy-efficient buildings.
This edition also marks the launch of the first episode of our video interview series, where we hear from Sofia Mulero, BuildON’s coordinator, as she shares insights from the Valladolid pilot site.
The project has also taken an important step with the release of a key deliverable, Technical Requirements and Architecture Design, which lays the groundwork for BuildON’s digital framework. This milestone defines how our core technologies will integrate to make Europe’s buildings smarter, more adaptive, and energy-efficient.
The pilot spotlight of this edition takes us to Helsinki, which recently hosted the fourth meeting of the BuildON consortium. With the project now moving beyond its halfway point, partners are turning their focus from design and development to bringing smart, affordable building solutions into real-world application across Europe.
