The two-day meeting was the occasion for BuildOn’s team to visit the Polish pilot, a kindergarten in Gdynia.
Here, thermostats have been applied to radiators, and air-quality-control devices have been placed in the different rooms. Based on their detections, heat is authomatically regulated, thanks to the heat pumps located in the buildong’s basement. These are just some of the technologies that BuildON is developing and studying. Here, they are being tested with the aim of reducing the kindergarten’s energy consumption.

Hosted by the municipality of Gdynia and FASADA, the project’s meeting was also an important moment to update each other on the overall activities progress, on the post-project perspectives, and on the upcoming opportunities to spread results at events and through publications.
This team meating was crucial to define the next steps, as BuildON approaches its finish line. The project partners will meet again in autumn to host BuildOn’s closing conference.
