Welcome to the first Newsletter of BuildON!

BuildON is a EU-funded project committed to transforming buildings up to smarter levels and to improve their energy performance.

The project is based on three key elements: advanced monitoring and control infrastructures, the ability to integrate and interact with existing systems and the potential offered by digitalisation, together with the application of Artificial Intelligence and optimal control techniques.

One of the main challenges of the project revolves around the ability to operate and control buildings through a set of tools that support, engage and empower users.

Currently, BuildON activities have focused on understanding pilot’s needs, and the starting point and main goals, in order to define the actions to be taken. The coming months will also be dedicated to orchestrating the interactions between the key components of the Smart Transformer Toolbox solution to be delivered and the first developments.
